The impermanence of life: a brief thought

Isn't everything temporary?

A short breath in the time of one's life, before the breath comes to an end.

How seriously we so often take ourselves, our challenges, and our lives.

But in the context of transience, perhaps holding on to the irrational seriousness of life is precisely what gives us a sense of meaning.

Maybe that is why we are allowed to play with the seriousness of things and the impermanence of everything.

To find a balance between these two poles that is worth living.
